Installation Tips

How do I apply the tiles? Clean and dry your wall → plan your layout using the tile grid map → peel and stick tile by tile → press firmly → step back and enjoy.

How do I handle large designs? Work in sections. Complete one area before moving to the next to keep alignment accurate.

Can I reposition tiles after placing them? Yes, before pressing firmly. Once pressed, repositioning may affect adhesion.

How do I clean the tiles? Wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.

How much does shipping cost? Orders of 4 sqm or more ship free (15–22 days). Smaller orders: $25 standard (15–22 days) or $35 express (7–10 days).

How long does processing take? 1–3 business days before shipment.

Will I get a tracking number? Yes, tracking info is emailed once your order ships.

What if tiles arrive damaged or missing? Contact us at hello@8bitclear.com with photos. We'll replace damaged or missing tiles promptly.

What is your return policy? Non-custom orders can be returned within 30 days in original condition. Custom orders are non-refundable. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Custom Orders

What's the difference between the $50 Design Files and the $20 Bespoke Kit? The $50 Design Files give you 4 digital files to DIY — pixel art, tile grid map, before & after, and material list, delivered in 2 days. The $20 Bespoke Kit is a full physical kit with everything calculated and ready to tile, delivered in ~30 days.

What do I need to send for a custom order? A clear photo of your subject and your wall dimensions. We handle the rest.

Can I request revisions? Yes, we include revision rounds in the design process before final delivery.

Are custom orders refundable? No. All custom orders are final once production begins. Please review your design approval carefully.

Wall & Surface Compatibility

Will the tiles stay on my wall? Yes, on smooth clean surfaces. The adhesive is strong and repositionable — you can adjust placement before pressing firmly.

Can I use them in bathrooms or kitchens? Yes, but avoid direct water contact or steam-heavy areas. Wipe surfaces dry before application.

How do I remove them without damaging the wall? Peel slowly at a low angle. Most smooth painted walls come away cleanly.

What about curved walls? Score the back of the tile sheet to flex around curves. Smaller sections work best.

What is 8bitclear?

Glass Dot Tiles are self-adhesive, peel-and-stick square glass tiles (10mm × 10mm) that let you create pixel art wall installations — no tools, no grout, no experience needed.

100% glass with a pre-applied adhesive backing. Each tile is 10mm × 10mm and can be cut to fit curved or irregular surfaces.

We offer 10 color families: Orange, Black/White/Gray, Red & Pink, Yellow, Brown & Coffee, Blue, Green, Special, Tea, and Purple.
